Moonis Elahi, youth politician of PMLQ, son of PMLQ leader and former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi expressed confidence that their party will once again be a prominent party in the Pakistani politics. Many politicians had earlier joined PTI from various other parties but since only a few have started to rule it, most politicians now feel their identities are being marred by the untouchables i.e. Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Jehangir Tareen. As all decisions are made by the big three the other party members are considered nothing more than just minor political workers. PMLN & PPP on the other hand are already stuffed with the people who do not welcome new entrants and it is only a family party, the best choice remains with PMLQ.
The Chaudhry family are known for their humbleness and kind nature which is a plus point against the arrogant and self centered politicians who have managed to bring their parties in a mess. Former Pakistan Tehreek - i - Insaf Punjab joint secretary Dr. Zain Bhatti has formally joined PMLQ on Tuesday. Dr. Bhatti is also a PTI ticket holder for National Assembly constituency 97 from Gujranwala. Before joining the party, he called on the leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence. Apart from Moonis Elahi and the party leader, newly appointed general secretary Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Basharat Raja, Dr. Azeemuddin Lakhvi and others were also present.
Welcoming the new entrant, Mr. Elahi said the party is strengthened even more as the young politician will further add to its value. The performance of incumbent CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was also discussed and many flaws in his governance were brought to light. The recent death of a patient on the Jinnah Hospital's floor was condemned. The province needs more hospitals but the funds were being spent on 'Jangla' Bus projects and Orange Line Metro Train. Moonis Elahi highlighted some prominent achievements of the party when it had the chance to rule a decade ago. He further elaborated plans to empower the public health sector in the province.
Moonis Elahi said it has become crystal clear that PMLN is a family political party and everyone can be sacrificed to protect the Sharifs. There isn't a place for anyone in the N League and PPP has now also become the same with Zardari and Bilawal leading from the front. PMLQ on the other hand always values appointments on merit and there is zero tolerance for corruption. the party always follows a clear agenda with transparency and this is the very reason none of the party leader could be accused of corruption of a single penny even though PMLN tried its best to thrust a politically motivated case on PMLQ leaders.
